Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons, as an offensive tight end in the National Football League. The NFL's most effective tight ends, and third-best overall receiver, he's been ranked as the NFL's most effective tight end, in terms of yards received, receptions and receptions, among other things.
The former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez, who has been on FOX NFL KICKOFF since the past year, is the show's host. The show airs on Sunday at 11:15 am ET, before FOX NFL SUNDAY.
On the 15th of March, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign with the Falcons for a 2-year, 14 million-dollar contract despite the fact that he had said Gonzalez would retire at the end of 2013. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the league's top player of receiving yards in the last time during his playing career.
