Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tight end who was a part of the National Football League for 17 seasons. He is one of the NFL's most effective tight ends, and the third most effective overall receiver, he's been recognized as the NFL's top tight end by the number of receptions, yards he has received, achieved, and so on.
Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End currently works as an FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez has been in FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's 1-hour NFL pregame broadcast prior to FOX NFL the SUNRISE) that airs every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez has signed a contract extension to The Falcons to run for two seasons and $11 million on March 15, 2013. This was despite the fact that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire following the 2012 NFL football season. After the departure of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez had his final season as the leader of the NFL's active players in receiving yards.
