Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end from American football, who was a part of the National Football League. He spent 17 years on the field. The NFL's most effective tight ends, and the third best overall receiver, he has been ranked as the NFL's leading tight end in terms of receiving yards, receptions achieved, and so on.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end with the Kansas City Chiefs as well as Atlanta Falcons, is currently working at FOX's Studio. Since the 2017 NFL season, Gonzalez has been a fixture in FOX NFL KICKOFF the FOX's one-hour NFL pregame show preceding FOX NFL SUNDAY, airing every Sunday at 11:15 AM ET during the NFL season.
On March 15, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons for a 2-year, $14 million deal despite claiming that he would be retiring following the 2013 season. Randy Moss retired in 2013, and Gonzalez, who was 37 at the time, completed the year that ended his playing career as the NFL leading receiver yards.
